I'm a bit late this season due to work, etc., but I am planting my okra varieties on 5.20.2024. Included in the varieties is Heavy Hitter. I can't wait to see how it does. I wanted to share this story so those reading this know what kind of person Ron is... In February I ordered the seed directly from heavyhitterokra.com. According to the order status and the shipping website, my order was delivered a few days later. The only problem is that I never received the order. I waited a few more days, and I also checked with my neighbors to see if the order was mistakenly delivered to any neighbors. That was not the case.
I contacted Ron to inquire about…
Just got my seeds today, can't wait to plant! Seeds came with a few extra seeds to share with friends and handwritten note from Ron thanking me for purchase. He also included a bag of wild onion bulbs (my wife would kill me if I planted them, they grow like weeds in Alabama, haha). He also included a ziplock and a freaking paper towel for germinating the seeds! If customer care is an indicator, Ron is one cool dude, and I would love to meet ! Thanks again! I hope to be sick of Okra by fall!
The main page says seeds are ready for the 2023 season and says to press SHOP to ORDER seeds. Nothing works!
