Heavy Hitter Okra is a heavily branching variety of Abelmoschus esculentus and currently holds the Oklahoma State Okra Record for highest production (over 19,000 pounds per acre).   Heavy Hitter was developed right here in Moodys, Oklahoma on our certified organic farm.  We accomplish this through a careful process of hand selection and cross-pollination.  The varieties used in this development are a carefully guarded secret resulting in the highest quality seeds available in the USA.   We continually improve this variety each season by harvesting only our best seed stock for future gernerations.
